Kashkadarya region 



Kashkadarya region is located in the southern part of Uzbekistan, in the basin of the Kashkadarya river, and it borders with Samarkand region in the North. The climate of Kashkadarya region is cool, as the area is situated around the mountains, people are hospitable. The major cities of the region are Karshi and Shakhrisabz. Shahrisabz is an ancient city, which is more than 2700 years old. And to our years lived very few sights, but they are still available. Impressions from visiting these attractions are incredibly good. The most important sight is Ak Saray Palace, the place is very majestic, and passing between the ruins of the Palace, there is feeling of great power. The Palace was built under the order of Amir Temur himself and only two towers remained to this day. There is a monument to Amir Temur against the background of the Palace.
